Book Fair

To encourage literacy and intellectual engagement, Chandannagar Ispat Sangha organizes book fairs that attract readers of all ages. These events feature a diverse collection of books, ranging from educational resources to fiction and self-help titles, catering to various interests and age groups. The fairs also provide a platform for local authors to showcase their work and interact with readers. By making books affordable and accessible, the organization fosters a reading culture that enriches minds and broadens perspectives. These fairs not only celebrate literature but also inspire creativity and knowledge-sharing within the community. 

Since the year of 2000, Chandannagar has been  witnessing  this book fair organised by Ispat Sangha during the last ten days in the month of December. The fair is actively participated by popular publishers and attened by eminent writers, poets and artists belonging to different cultural and social hues. The entire Chandannagar population  throng  to the Mela ground.  The fair is generally attended by a hundred thousand  people every  year. Go to Photo Gallery
