Chandannagar Ispat Sangha takes a proactive role in disaster relief efforts, providing critical support during natural calamities such as floods, cyclones, and earthquakes. The organization distributes food, drinking water, and essential supplies to affected families, ensuring their immediate needs are met. They also extend emotional support, helping individuals cope with the challenges of rebuilding their lives. Their commitment to aiding the vulnerable reflects their dedication to humanity, as they collaborate with local authorities and volunteers to deliver timely and efficient relief services. These efforts aim to restore hope and resilience in the wake of devastating crises. Some of their past contributions - 

  • Financial assistance provided to the Chief Minister’s relief fund for the earthquake-stricken people of Maharastra.
  • Financial assistance provided to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund to help the flood hit people of Kerala.
  • Financial assistance provided to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund in order to help the cyclone (yash) devasted people of West Bengal.
  • Supplying food, both cooked and dry, along with provision of tarpaulin, medicine and clothing for the people of the Sundarbans during the COVID period.
  • Supplying cooked food regularly to at least 250 people continuing for 27 days from the office premises of Ispat Sangha  during the  same  period.
  • Distribution of dry food to 100 people regularly  for 11 days from the Sangha premises.
